-Leads sourcing and product development activities to achieve both strategic and operational success -Leads the Global Sourcing Strategy required for our agency customer in support of private brand penetration businesses -Ensures alignment with the overall agency sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and to constantly increase productivity, reduce costs and prepare for future sourcing challenges in the area of responsibility -Responsible for assigned global category organization including architecting, setting direction for organizational development, and reducing total cost of ownership -Develop and implements global, regional & local principles, standards and processes -Develops strategies and direct the activities of cost reduction efforts at the local, regional and global levels -Works with every level of customer to ensure alignment of strategy and goals -Leads talent management for agency business team by coaching and mentoring local and oversea staff
Key Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA is preferred. -At least 15 years global sourcing and supply chain experience for multinational retailer and trading companies is required -Strong experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, project management and logistics management -Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists -Excellent English in both writing and speaking
