Job Purpose This position is responsible for targeting and hunting for new business with new customers by selling APLL’s capabilities and solutions, to achieve assigned top line and bottom-line financial results.
Roles & Responsibilities 1. Responsible to find the right target customers in APLL’s focused vertical and market; 2. Able to build up relationship with customers and dig out the opportunities fitting into APLL’s capabilities and competencies; 3. Able to understand customers supply chain, find the pain points and sell the right solutions and demonstrated value to customers; 4. Responsible to lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operation, solutions, tech/IT, finance, etc. to design and work out the proposal to the customers’ requests; 5. Maintain good relationship with existing clients, continuously improve the profitability and dig out new business opportunities; 6. Ensure timely and accurate reports of target accounts, opportunities and sales calls; 7. Follow up A/R and ensure the timely payment from the customers; 8. Responsible to follow the customer qualification and on-boarding protocols, including credit setup and contract coordination for customers;
Qualification 1. Minimum of a Bachelors, ideally with an MBA or related advanced degree in Finance, Economics or related field; 2. Excellent Chinese and English language skills;
Requirements 1. Minimum 8 years’ experience in commercial role with rick knowledge of supply chain logistics and local market practice; 2. Skill sets o Prospecting and targeting customer in focused products o Excellent communication and presentation skills o Ability to engage the Director/VP level customers o Analytical skills o Understanding of the operational process 3. Good knowledge in both international and domestic logistics; 4. Established network of customer and business relationships; 5. Relevant work experience in a supply chain division of an MNC or 3PL; 6. Be able to work in complex situation and under pressure;
Key Result Areas 1. Meet budget goals, including overall Revenue and CM targets for specific services 2. Accounts generating at least minimum corporate CM 3. Meet regional AR target 4. Full compliance in sales system input
