Job responsibilities:
1.Ensure early involvement of SQD in case of new suppliers and/or materials and on-time PPAP approval
2.Conduct purchasing of materials independently and select supplier and second sources for the components out of an approved supplier list
3.Ensure correct, complete and timely maintenance of master data and workflows in all relevant systems
4.Order program related needs like samples and toolings
5.Support and execute cost reduction ideas
6.Execute category strategy
7.Confirm material availability and lead time for the components
8.Ensure supplier capacities to avoid supply bottlenecks

Qualifications:
1.College degree or above
2.5+ years project buyer experience with a multinational company, preferably in automotive industry
3.Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
4.Expertise in die casting, injection molding and metal stamping
5.Proactive attitude and good negotiation skills, results driven
