Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Agency Partnership Development Team supporting Independent Agencies. You will be directly responsible for developing strategic relationships with Independent Agencies to ensure we increase the visibility and adoption of Walmart Connect’s media solutions.
This role requires a strong executive presence to form the needed stakeholder relationships, inclusive of agency C-Suite, COE’s, and account level leadership teams. Core responsibilities include supporting Agencies with education, retail strategy best practices, API support, and research opportunities. You will also serve as Walmart Connect’s liaison between existing/new account teams, helping our Sales Team prospect new relationships and revenue opportunities by attending agency owned and industry events to drive awareness and advocacy of Walmart Connect’s capability offering.
Responsibilities ? Create, own and grow relationships with Agency partners, specifically Media Agency leadership to establish a trusted feedback loop to help inform and prioritize pod, team and company objectives ? Provide thought leadership and educational trainings to inspire and inform Agencies about best practices for using Walmart Connect ? Collaborate with cross functional teams within Walmart Connect to develop and execute go to market plans to meet joint business partnership goals ? Provide consultative services to Walmart Connect sales and account management teams whose clients are utilizing an Agency ? Raise awareness and advocate for Agencies across Walmart Connect through data driven analysis and insights ? Create scalable solutions that accelerate revenue across multiple Agencies and client types ? Cultivate, support, and connect new agency advertisers with appropriate Sales team members as we scale across supplier and marketplace businesses and advertising solutions ? Lead fulfillment of annual partnership by tracking key financial and partnership metrics driven by the Agencies and providing driven analysis to key internal and external stakeholders ? Manage the day-to-day operational needs of the Agency business
Minimum Qualification ? BA/BS degree required ? 10+ years strategic business and/or partnerships experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing business relationships and cross-functional projects ? Experience working cross-functionally, managing initiatives at scale and delivering results ? Experience in working with retail media, search, programmatic, and CTV platforms ? Proven experience delivering partnership initiatives, having worked in Sales, Product, Business development, and/or Partnerships, with an emphasis on automated advertising experiences. ? Analytical experience with experience diagnosing problems and crafting solutions but also introduce ways to validate and measure outcomes ? Ability to prioritize workload based on business impact ? Experience building working relationships at all levels of management, both internal and external facing especially with Sales or pre-sales teams ? Comfortable with presenting to clients and agencies—in both small and large groups in person and virtually ? Familiarity and relationships with Independent Agencies ? A self-starter who takes initiative and is action oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
