KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for fashion and accessories, including not limited to handbags, carrying bags, shoes, and jewelry.
Align with the company's business goals and sustainability practices.
Manage the end-to-strength in supplier negotiations, costings, and contract management.
Analyze market trends to identify potential new sourcing destinations and vendors outside the traditional China market, such as Vietnam.
Establish strong relationships with suppliers and implement a robust supplier performance management system.
Work closely with the design and product development teams to understand material requirements and ensure that products meet quality, cost, and time specifications.
Lead the costing team, setting benchmarks and standards to evaluate product costs and ensure costing strategies are competitive and profitable.
Oversee the development of effective supply chain and inventory strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely product delivery.
Liaise with logistics and compliance departments to ensure efficient import operations from various sourcing regions.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
Conduct regular visits to suppliers and trade shows to keep abreast of the latest industry developments and sourcing opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of sourcing experience within the apparel industry, specifically with handbags, carrying bags, and accessories.
In-depth knowledge of fashion materials, production processes, and global market trends.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage international vendor relationships.
Proven track record in strategic planning, negotiation, and cost management.
Ability to travel internationally to vendor sites and trade shows as required.
Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing diverse and multicultural teams, and drive change.
Excellent communication, analytical and leadership abilities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant sourcing software.
