Digital Marketing Analyst – Ecommerce and Consumer Marketing Knowledge GP Batteries, location: Shenzhen About the Role
As a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing marketing and ecommerce platform data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve GP Batteries digital campaigns and enhance GP brand online presence and sales performance in both China and oversea marketplace. You will be responsible for turning data into stories and strategies that propel GP brand forward in the competitive digital market landscape. You will work closely with the internal marketing and ecommerce teams, external agencies and parties to implement data-driven campaigns and optimize our e-commerce platform for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Analytical Insights and Reporting: ● Conduct ecommerce regional marketing strategies for local deployment. ● Analyze consumer behavior and preferences to tailor marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience. ● Consolidate competitor activities and new product launches, conduct detailed competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges within the China e-commerce landscape. ● Work with different departments, monitor and report on the performance of e-commerce campaign and daily operation, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Support: ● Review and analyze e-commerce KPIs, producing monthly reports for management and identifying trends and key insights, recommending and implementing solutions to drive marketing efficiencies and optimization. ● Provide support for e-commerce activities as needed, assisting in both offline media and online media planning and operation to ensure campaign well delivered. ● Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends and technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Management Responsibilities: ● Manage external ISV agency to ensure adherence to strategic guidelines and oversee responsibilities on campaign or monthly basis. ● Functionally report to the Global Digital Marketing Director, with a dual role for local China e-commerce lead.
Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Ecommerce, Marketing, Information System, Statistics, Math, or a related field. ● 3 years or above experience in both China and ASEAN e-commerce marketing operation or data analysis in marketing ● Familiarity with online marketplace platforms (for both China e.g. Tmall, JD and oversea e.g. Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, eBay) and marketplace data solution tools (e.g. JD Shangzhi, Tmall Databank, Bytedance Yuntu), digital marketing tools, and analytics software. ● Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into effective marketing strategies. ● Excellent communication and presentation skills in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal. Cantonese is a plus.
