1.Identifying suppliers that best fit the requirements for NPI products
2.Administer quotation packages for NPI products, sourcing new component and cross alternative component, negotiate with supplier to get the best price. Make sure quotation’s MOQ, L/T, incoterms, payment term are effective and maintain these T&C in system. Supporting product developing department and product marketing.
3.Survey, evaluate new supplier and qualify the new supplier/new component and timely feedback the qualified result to supplier
4.Understand supplier manufacturing process to help buyer to push supplier 100% delivery on time and supplier performance evaluation and improvement
5.Cost reduction plan and implement for existing products. Quarterly submit report of material cost down and cost increasing, analyze material marketing trend and cause, action take
6.Establish supplier profile, compile supplier product catalogue including mechanical and electronic components, sign purchasing contract, including but not limit to machined parts, tooling for plastic molds and stamping
7.Resolve suppliers' technical questions on prints or specifications, product deviations during NPI stage. Requires working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing to understand product requirements and to communicate those requirements to suppliers.
8.Compile product families for spend consolidation into most capable suppliers; lead projects to re-source components for quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
9.Support other sourcing activities as required


Education and Background:

1.Bachelor degree with a major in s electronic or mechanical engineering or above
2.At least 5 years experience in technical sourcing /purchasing in an electronics or mechanical manufacturing environment， It is acceptable for 3 years work experience for Sourcing engineer
3.Aware well for new product’s time to market
4.Supplier development and experience with a specific commodity (molding, stamping, tooling or machining, or electronic components)
5.Proficient oral and written communication skills (English) is plus
6.Strong personal computer skills e.g. MS Office and associated software
7.Experience and knowledge in Kingdee ERP are preferred
