DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 61 Own and lead Advanced Quality Planning process for new product development. Review the design feasibility and work out the CTQs with design team and ensure pass the right CTQs and Spec to SQE and Contract manufacture. 61 Review DFMEA, CTQ, product spec, quality plan, test plan and result etc. Provide assessments and fact-based guidance during new product development and drive continuous improvement. 61 Lead new product design reviews on UXR and monitors progress. Coordinate and facilitate collaborative resolution of the craftsmanship issues identified with the team actively involved in development and manufacturing of the product. 61 Work collaboratively with cross-functional product development teams, manufacturing partners and key suppliers to determine product engagement. 61 Handle customer complaint and review warranty returns, consumer calls and online review comments, drive corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement. Responsible for design quality summary and field feedback regular report for new products. 61 Review and approve engineering change after mass production. 61 Drives continuous improvement and regular optimization on design based APQP process and enhance quality sense through new project. 61 Applying SME level knowledge of specific component like electronic, mechanical, package etc. 61 Support supplier qualification audit and drive the continuous improvement in tier-1 and tier -2 supplier. Support Project, TTL, BHI quality team, Electronic design team and SQE to manage key component suppliers. 61 Performs all other related duties as necessary. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 61 Bachelor’s degree above. Major in electronic engineering or mechanic engineering related. 61 Sound knowledge of IPC 610, UL107, QS, Electronic design quality processes and supplier quality processes. At least 6 years of experience as design quality, supplier quality or customer quality engineer. 61 ISO and other quality system knowledge, good at ITAF16949 5 tools, 8D reporting and other quality tools, have strong problem-solving skills and data analysis capability. 61 Good in written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication skill. 61 Strong computer skills with a firm understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Minitab and JMP is a plus. 61 Demonstrated team-building skills in an environment of managing through influence and persuasion. 61 Self-discipline, working independently and responsibility sense, ability to work under pressure. 61 Must be willing to spend 30% (or more as needed) of working hours on repetitive pre-shipment audit/inspection. Willing to travel domestic and oversea. 61 Experience in electronic component manufacturing quality requirements and field failure analysis. 61 Experience in software/firmware and connected product quality and testing is preferred. 61 Strong analytical skills. 61 Have basic knowledge of UXR, detail-oriented personality. PREFERRED 61 Quality certifications, e.g. ASQ CQE, CQA, or equivalent 61 Working knowledge of electronics 61 Background in injection molding 61 Experience with supplier assessment audits 61 Familiarity with UL1017 or similar agency requirements.
