Responsibilities: 61 Achieve KPIs of sales and gross profit for respective product categories by merchandising competitive products to meet always-changing favors from price-sensitive customers 61 Develop the merchandise mix by sourcing new products & promotion strategies for responsible product category & identify strategic partnerships with new vendors annually 61 Plan and execute strategic promotion programs to drive sales from different sales downward scenario for responsible stores and product categories 61 Negotiate best contract terms with suppliers for buying price & ending gross margin by analyzing market trend & intelligence on competitors’ sales performance and revenue to maximize merchandising profit return 61 Conduct global sourcing activities to identify potential products & suppliers for better merchandises and prices 61 Work and manage closely with sourcing team in PRC offices about merchandise descriptions & details to make sure an accurate sourcing 61 Calculate sales estimation, rolling forecast buying plan and conduct sale report 61 Provide supporting materials, such as in-store display product details, in order to enhance department and product image 61 Coordinate with stores & operational teams on stock movement including allocation, replenishment and consolidation 61 Handle ad hoc projects assigned by senior management Requirements:
61 Degree holder in Supply Chain Management or related discipline 61 At least 7 years merchandising experience in household retailing / manufacturing in which 3 years at managerial level 61 Solid experience in Home Appliances product development 61 Strong supplier network of Home Appliances products 61 Strong leadership and able to communicate with all levels of people 61 Being sensitive to sales and market trend and responsive to changes of customer behaviour 61 Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin 61 Immediate available is highly preferable 61 Occasional China trip 61 Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
