Principle Accountabilities:

Quality control for products in OEM suppliers.
61 Corrective action management. Quality assurance trouble shooting and corrective actions for existing products in OEM suppliers. Working with OEM supplier analyze the root cause for key quality issues through EWR and CAR’s, reviewing and verifying quality issues and corrective actions or documents with quality owner follow up and close them at SAP system.
61 Supporting quality owner, working with OEM supplier for OPSI issues. Reviewing and verifying open issues at CAPA’s.
61 Supporting NPD for new products and process quality checking and all production set up during PP and MP.
61 Provide regular feedback on production quality status of Group products. Yearly quality plan (include life test report and sample review, approbation check, product quality check, OPSI report review, drop test review, SPC review etc) on all key suppliers to monitor, review, improve product quality.
61 Collecting, analysing, reporting and acting upon quality performance data.
61 Responsible for post launch product re-tool, tooling maintenance, engineering change. Communicating with quality owner and supplier to plan test programmes and approve any change.
61 Communicating design improvements based upon results of agreed regular post-production product audits.
61 Support supplier requirements in terms of data, test results, root cause analysis and guidance.



KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

1. Good English, and Mandarin speaking and written skills.
2. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Qualification College or University.
3. 5+ years’ experience in engineering/quality, (preferably with household electro-mechanical products).
4. Knowledge of current European and UL household appliance standards and applicable Environmental Legislation.
5. Familiar with quality tools like 8D, 5 why, FMEA, SPC, Quality Control Plan.
6. Basic project management skills.
7. Detail -oriented, self-motivated.
8. Able to take responsibility, working without constant supervision but willing to seek guidance or clarification when necessary.
9. Great team player and good communicator.
10. Organized and disciplined approach to work.
