Job roles and Responsibilities
1. Main Responsibilities:
※ Design and execute test cases, identify and report defects.
※ Perform manual and automated testing using various tools.
※ Analyze test results and provide feedback and improvement suggestions.
※ Certification(CE, ETL, FCC ID, FCC SDoC, MIC, KC, PSE, UKCA, RoHS/REACH, etc.) implementation for all company products.
※ Develop applicable certification plans according to sales countries.
※ Discuss detailed product specifications with labs and ask for certification quotations, negotiate favorable terms with third-party service providers, and institutions to minimize costs.
※ After laboratory determined, preparing certification and technical documents required(battery pack specification/antenna specification/product description/RF specification/critical components list, manuals, labels, schematics and PCB layout, etc.), tuning samples to make them suitable for kinds of testing, write RF test guidance and provide test tools/firmware make sure the tests are performed with correct configuration.
※ Follow up certification project progress and update to involved persons. Make sure to get the certificates and reports on schedule, share the certificates with the relevant departments.
※ Work with EE/ME to solve EMC/safety issues that arise during the testing process, make lesson learn to avoid happening again, review the test report released by lab.
※ Other job assignments arranged by the superiors as per actual work needs

Job Qualifications
1. Knowledge of certification standards: The candidate should have knowledge of various certification standards such as CE, ETL, FCC ID, FCC SDoC, MIC, KC, PSE, UKCA, RoHS/REACH, etc.
2. Technical knowledge: The candidate should have technical knowledge to discuss detailed product specifications with labs and prepare certification and technical documents required for certification. They should also have knowledge of battery pack specification, antenna specification, product description, RF specification, critical components list, manuals, labels, schematics, and PCB layout.
3. Project management skills: The candidate should have project management skills to develop applicable certification plans according to sales countries and follow up certification project progress.
4. Problem-solving skills: The candidate should have problem-solving skills to work with EE/ME to solve EMC/safety issues that arise during the testing process and make lesson learn to avoid happening again.
5. Regulatory compliance knowledge: The candidate should have knowledge of regulatory compliance to participate in the early design review of new projects and ensure that the products are totally compliant with the regulation, especially for the EMC part.
6. Attention to detail: The candidate should have attention to detail to conduct compliance inspection for documents include labels, manuals, key components, etc.
7. Research skills: The candidate should have research skills to research and study certification standards and specifications and maintain certificates up to date.
8. Communication skills: The candidate should have strong communication skills to provide strong support and answer the question about the compliance from customers and handle other laboratory testing requests.
9. Flexibility: The candidate should be flexible to handle other job assignments arranged by the superiors as per actual work needs.
Overall, the candidate should have a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, regulatory compliance knowledge, problem-solving skills, and communication skills to perform the job responsibilities effectively
