#1 General Purpose of the Job Co-define and manage the quality assurance approach with factories, engineering team, to guarantee the compliance of products according to quality requirements, in compliance with performance and economic objectives.
#2 Key Responsibility Areas 1) Support Project Engineering Team and vendors on any Protective project related topic from sample stage till Mass production inspection. 2) Co-define the Quality Assurance and Control Plans for the mass production. Ensure all process are capable and if needed implement SPC. 3) Support on site production line routine & random checks. Manage any of quality topic defined in the Quality file, derogation issues, PO inspection issues etc., and follow up the corrective action with suppliers’ quality team. 4) Perform on-site quality audits towards material, parts, semi-finished & finished products as well as labeling & packaging in different stage of product production to ensure the QA approach and Control plans are well implemented. 5) Daily manage the Amer Sports Quality Inspectors workload.
#3 Essential Duties 1) Conduct routine on-site inspections in suppliers’ factories. 2) Update Monthly and Yearly score card report for each supplier. 3) Assist to follow up with supplier the Corrective Action Plan implementation. 4) Assist & support to explore possible causes analysis and solution for any quality issues (feedback/complaint) with 8D or Root Cause Analysis tools. 5) Keep alert on production status together with the informed production schedule, and feedback relevant information/update to concerned parties (e.g. counterpart in Production Planning & Production team/Product Industrialization team).
#4 Key Competencies 1) Fluent English communication skills. 2) Mastery of quality tools and process.
#5 Work Experience 1) Quality system and tools background. 2) 3-5 years relevant working experience preferred. 3) Familiar with the MIL-STD 105 E sample standard.
#6 Academic Requirement 1) 4 years full time undergraduate. 2) Basic knowledge of Microsoft office program (Word /Outlook). 3) Good level of Excel and statistics.
#7 Other Remarks 1) Well ready to be assigned to work in different locations with different suppliers. 2) Willingness to travel at least 1 or 2 per month (full working week)
