Responsibilities include: 61 Preparing concise and detailed reliability test plans and reports with an emphasis on prioritizing tasks to meet challenging deadlines. 61 Developing new reliability tests, procedures, and specifications. 61 Analysing experimental data to provide in-depth understanding of design features. 61 Researching state-of-the-art technology to understand root causes of test failures. 61 Providing design direction to multi-functional teams to improve product reliability. Key Qualifications 61 Deep understanding of mechanical assemblies and industry test standards (JEDEC, ASTM, IEEE). 61 Experience in reliability testing, including mechanical stress tests (shock, drop, vibration), environmental, and fatigue testing. 61 Proficient in failure analysis techniques such as optical microscopy, x-ray/CT scans, scanning electron microscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and energy dispersive spectroscopy. 61 Proficiency with statistical tools and models, such as Weibull++, JMP, and accelerated test models. 61 Expertise in applying Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiments (DOE). 61 Basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Digital Image Correlation (DIC). 61 Extraordinary problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 61 Confidence in navigating ambiguity and developing innovative approaches to challenges. 61 Dynamic, “can-do” attitude with a passion for delivering groundbreaking technologies and an eagerness to explore uncharted territory.
