PRIMARY FUNCTION
As a Logistics Analyst, you will be managing the timely delivery of import product from our overseas vendors into Target’s distribution centers. With the usage of data, problem solving skills and effective communication to support the Senior Manager of International Logistics in analyzing and executing corporate initiatives that support global import transportation network.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Network Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit network analysis for vendor shipments transitioning from FOB to FCA terms, incorporating all cost components from factories to origin ports. Manage container utilization programs and mode selection for efficient product movement through the supply chain.
2. Communication: Establish, maintain, and maximize effective relationships with Transportation, Owned Brand Sourcing & Development, Vendors and Consolidators. Monitor and manage the performance of consolidators and vendors.
3. Process Training and Development: Provide training support and manage documentation requirements with vendors and consolidators for corporate program initiatives.
4. Project Management: Conduct analysis and manage projects impacting the supply chain, such as container utilization, vessel planning prioritization, etc.
5. Office Administration: Handle telephone calls related to Import Transportation, addressing questions about Asia Import Transportation. Communicate accordingly with Headquarters Transportation and cross-functional teams. Schedule meetings and appointments with internal and external partners as requested.
6. Additional Duties as Assigned: Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include handling/sorting mail, maintaining files, coordinating payment of invoices/bills, or managing one-time projects or routine tasks.

61 Bachelor’s degree and equivalent business experience with 3 years+.
