Position title: BESS Engineer (C+I / Utility Projects)

Position targets / Outcomes:
61 Develop and define requirements and features for standard systems of Enpal’s C+I & Utility BESS solutions
61 Designing guideline and standards (DFX criteria) which includes Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Testability (DFT), and Design for Volume (DFV)
61 Develop a product roadmap and create basic designs for co-development with partners and lead the entire value chain from design ideas to market launches.
61 Testing strategy, testing plan, testing procedures in close collaboration with Technology with Product & Tech as well as SQA.
61 Close collaboration with Tech/Product, SQE (assessments) and Operations for product development and go-to market strategies
61 Lead the continuous hardware improvement process and execute value analysis and value engineering (VAVE)

Requirements:
We are searching for a Hardware engineer for BESS with Power electronic background to develop Enpal’s C+I & Utility BESS. The candidate needs to be data driven, very strong hardware product development skills paired with target focused leadership. The perfect candidate has started their carrier in a MNC in which he/she grew quickly into product engineering positions.

Must haves:
61 BESS development / project management background
3+ years of hands-on product development experience in BESS relevant hardware design, development, and project management in a both large and small-to-medium organizations.
61 Track record bringing winning products to market and ability to collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Operations.
61 Strong stakeholder management in electrical, mechanical, regulatory, prototyping, validation, and test areas.
61 Ability to identify and execute technology roadmaps.

61 Track record of cost reduction through value engineering
61 Experience defining OKRs
61 Ability and willingness to travel globally as necessary
