To support its expansion the group is now looking for a customer focused with great attention to details skills Quality and Loading Inspections Supervisor for its Shenzhen office. Assignments: 61 Reporting to Asia Operation Manager. 61 Supervising on a part-time basis Quality Control and Loading Inspections carried out in China and Greater Asia. 61 Gathering internal and external information elements which will be used by inspectors to detect quality issues (technical files, specifications, materials, manufacturing data, production processes, etc…). 61 Control, correct, update, validate and timely deliver Intertraffic compliant quality and loading inspection reports detailing non-conformities in accordance with customers’ requirements and specifications. 61 Supervising Loading Inspections on a part time basis (Pre-inspection – Previo En Origen – and Supervision of Loading) in China and Greater Asia. 61 Supervising inspectors missions ensuring that the goods delivered by the factory are compliant with customer’s requirements in terms of Quantity / Assortment / Packaging / Labelling and making sure that orders are complete and securely loaded into containers before shipment. 61 Providing support & training to inspectors to achieve company goals and client requirements. 61 Deal with non-conformities / non-compliances of inspections and establish relevant corrective actions and proper training. 61 Monitoring and assessing QC activities of Quality Inspectors and promote continuous improvements to processes and inspection on the field practices. 61 Ensure QC Inspector07s KPIs and performance are met on an ongoing basis. 61 Provide regular assessment and evaluation of inspectors’ performance. 61 Work closely with our team of coordinators to prepare inspections (Assess information quality, relevance and reliability, paying special attention to inspections performed by 3rd parties). 61 Estimate quality and loading inspections times and cost. Control, question and validate inspectors’ mission expenses. 61 Work closely with 3rd parties to ensure full understanding of inspection requirements to ensure compliance. 61 Develop, maintain and update Operation Manuals and Inspection Procedures. 61 Draw up documented inspection procedures according to new customers/products requirements. 61 Liaising with customers and suppliers, vendors and factories whenever necessary. 61 Assisting in performing internal revisions in accordance with Operation / Systems manuals and Codes of Practices throughout our business. 61 Travelling can be required, mainly within China. 61 Awareness and guidance for inspections in China and revision of the corresponding inspection and reporting procedures is mandatory. 61 Promote honesty, transparency, health and safety at all times during the performance of his duties. 61 Other duties as assigned by the immediate superior. Requirements: Position opened on a part time basis. Assignments and workload will be adjusted accordingly. 61 5 years or above QA/QC working experience in Hard Goods and especially Furniture, Home Appliances and articles (electronics and electrics), Tableware, Toys, Raw Materials. 61 QC Engineering BsC Degree or employed as a QC Manager / Supervisor with demonstrated abilities. AQSIQ certification appreciated. 61 10+ years supporting Quality Control department by performing QC tasks, ensuring that department processes are followed and systems are maintained in compliance with regulations and customer expectations. 61 Experienced in Import & Export, forwarding/shipping and Customs clearance procedures. 61 Problem solving skills and have proactive approach to their work. 61 Familiar with ISO international standards working + testing environments and good practices. 61 Minimum 2 years supervisory experience. 61 Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. 61 Good at planning & organizing, at ease to build up teamwork managing time and interpersonal conflicts. 61 Good command of written and spoken English and Putonghua. 61 Proficiency in using MS Pack Office. 61 Proactive, Detail-minded and well organized. 61 Willing to work during holiday if necessary. 61 Immediate availability appreciated.
