Applications are invited globally for Full-Time Research Associate at the HeXie Management Research Centre (HeXie Academy) at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) to support the research and training projects and activities of the Centre, and support the development of the Centre in the Greater Bay Area. The Research Associate position has the responsibility of daily operations of the Centre, which may account for 30% of his/her workload, and 70% of the work will be research-oriented. The work will include, but not be limited to, conducting interviews, surveys, data management, coordinating and managing research projects, documentation, external academics visit reception, communicating and liaising with other staff and researchers, research meeting planning, preparation of literature reviews, writing reports.
? Conduct research related to HeXie Management Theory;
? Data entry and collection, data coding activities, data analysis;
? Review relevant literature; Draft Report / Develop Case;
? Archive research material, such as survey results and questionnaires, interview records, notes, and transcripts;
? Work with the Executive Director to develop projects’ presentations and reports;
? Liaise with internal staff and external clients on the projects’ progression;
? Assist with identifying and communicating with potential research collaborators;
? Assist in translating and interpreting research seminars, workshops, and meetings.
? Support documentation and financial management (i.e. budgeting and reimbursements);
? Support the reception of external scholars and professionals;
? Support project implementation, including contact with relevant clients; update and amend client records;
? Support the organisation of events and training activities, including collaborative projects with external bodies;
? Provide administrative support to the Head of HeXie Management Research Center;
? Assist in organising academic conferences;
? Communicate with external partners, assist in government-driven collaborative projects.
? Support research, training and curriculum development for Family business succession and innovation.
? Master’s degree in management or related social science field, using qualitative data analysis is preferred;
? Fluent in both Chinese and English.
? Candidates with experience in family business governance and succession, asset and wealth management, digital transformation and innovation ecosystem are preferred
? Self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative;
? Strong attention to detail, being able to prioritise tasks and meet multiple deadlines;
? Work well independently and collaboratively with colleagues, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills;
