Responsibilities ? Direction and responsibility for technical aspects of the product and project. ? Design plastic parts for injection molding. ? Assist in the integration of electronic and electromechanical components ? Specify and select purchased components. ? Collaborate in the development of comprehensive test plans. ? Set clear and thorough part, material, and overall product specifications. ? Technical definition of product and feasibility studies ? Analysis of test results and the understanding of performance. ? Provide technical information about the project to others in the company. ? Responsible for completeness, correctness and accuracy of CAD data ? Partner with project management to estimate technical project resources requirements and project expenses ? May be required to perform other duties as assigned Environment ? Interaction with global engineering teams, Industrial Design, CAD, Marketing, Consumer Experience, Buyers, Operations, Test Lab, etc ? Fast paced, fact-based decision making ? Concept to production involvement in projects ? Limited travel

SPECIALIZED TRAINING/EDUCATION PREFERRED ? 3D CAD and geometric dimensioning ? Exposure to finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) ? Fluid or air moving products ?
