Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Take lead in the design of projects
2. Investigate and review customer's requirements.
3. Collect customer project data, if required, and analyze received data.
4. Develop possible solutions based on defined customer requirements / design parameters.
5. Design and propose suitable sub-systems based on detailed equipment performance calculation.
6. Prepare presentation (PowerPoint) and present the proposed solutions to the customer in workshops or meetings.
7. Support purchase department to request for suppliers' quotations (RFQ) for sub-systems including preparing sub-systems requirement specification, liaise with suppliers, review supplier's quotations, define gaps between supplier's quotations against RFQ etc.
8. Analyzing the sub-system of the suppliers including the functionalities and the according scope of supply.
9. Prepare technical descriptions of proposed system for tender submission, as well as functional descriptions.
10. Prepare PowerPoint presentation of the proposed system for tender interview and clarification.
11. Actively support the Sales Manager technically, during sales and tender clarification phases. He shall take a key role to convince the customer to buy the proposed system.
12. Coordinate the integration and overall design between Jungheinrich and other suppliers.

Skills & Qualifications
1. Bachelor or above in mechanical, Mechatronics, engineering or equivalent
2. Minimum 5 years proven working experience in Industry system design, including 3+ years working experience in automated material handling system
3. Solid conceptual design knowledge and outstanding data analysis skills
4. Demonstrated strong competency of creativity and innovation as well as strong business acumen.
5. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, good communication and presentation skills.
6. Strong working knowledge of data analysis and design tools
7. Proficiency in MS office applications (PPT, Excel, Access, etc.)
8. Proficiency in English (oral & written) and Mandarin(oral) is a must.
