61 Contribute to improve access to care to millions of patients, supporting clinicians with innovative and effective Image Guided Therapy procedures and systems.

61 You will End-to-End lead a project team to deliver on the three key strategic programs of Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems in China – being Local-for-Local manufacturing, Local-for-Local supply base, and Local-for-Local and global innovation.

61 As an Integral Project Leader you are the “spider in the web”, connecting and guiding the cross-functional disciplines to deliver on the project objectives. You take the lead to build the project plan together with your team, deliver on the project objectives, perform daily risk management, mentor and coach your team, and maintain the relationship with all project stakeholders.

You are responsible for

61 Defining the project charter as well as the objectives/decision criteria and the scope of the strategic project for approval by the IGTS Business Program Team (BPT). This in order to clearly communicate the assignment to all project stakeholders;
61 Defining skills & competencies of the resources needed to execute the integral project in co-operation with resource managers – making sure that appropriate people are allocated;
61 Building the project plan, defining task dependencies, allocate resources to tasks as well as defining the project organization and -communication so that roles and responsibilities can be assigned clearly within the project;
61 Performing risk management – by setting up and maintaining a project risk matrix in order to manage an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, costs and quality;
61 Reporting the project status on a regular basis in order to identify conflicts in the project portfolio and to enable effective decision-making by the PMT;
61 To set up and maintain strong and open relationships with the Management team throughout IGT systems, other internal stakeholders as well as internal and external suppliers - in order to maintain management focus and to assure continuous support for the project;
61 Setting up and maintaining a history file as part of the project history file, in order to support product maintenance, to be protected against liabilities and to follow external regulations;
61 Building a successful project team through effective people management and coaching - in order to create a motivated team committed to the project assignment.

You are a part of

the newly formed IGTS organization in Philips China and located in Suzhou: an extension of the global Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Business Unit of Philips Healthcare. This Business Unit is responsible for marketing, development and manufacturing of X-Ray systems for cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and intervention (e.g., balloon angioplasty and stent procedures). Customers are interventional specialists, in the cardiology and radiology domain operating in a wide variety of hospitals across the globe.

The China IGTS PMO team reports into the global PMO team, which consists of around 40 people (Integral Projects Leaders/Managers, PSO Project Managers, Project Management Process Specialists). As Integral Project Leader you will be leading the project Core Team at an integral level whereas the PSO Project Manager is supporting the project Core Team.

61 To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
61 Our projects are complex and are performed in a strictly regulated quality system environment. You have a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in product development and product market introductions for (Image Guided) medical devices, or experience in other regulated industries with similar stringent quality requirements.
61 You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field. Working experience in a technical discipline is an advantage. Understanding of the China medical device regulations, with proven experience in leading projects to create/ensure required content of documentation intended for regulatory submission is a strong advantage.
61 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese. Ability to write project documentation in English language.
61 Conceptual understanding of and working experience in different project management methodologies like waterfall and (SAFe) Agile.
61 Quality mindset: sound knowledge of project management documentation practices and ability to drive process improvements.
61 Dynamic and enthusiastic team player who can drive actions, eager, ambitious, and self-propelling.
61 Delivers reliably and accurately on assigned tasks, with ability to keep project team members to their commitment by giving constructive feedback and guidance.
