Main purpose of the position: Develop the technical capabilities of new or potential suppliers for NPD or relocation projects, cooperate with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes or improve existing technologies, promote lean manufacturing concepts, and work closely with suppliers to continuously improve their production processes and product quality to meet the needs of the company Main responsibilities: Supplier qualification and monitoring Select, onboard and evaluate supplier base. Lead QMS, Process and Sustainability Audits on new suppliers or specified suppliers, and coach others on the tools and techniques of auditing. Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems. Supplier capacity management and develop suppliers' KPI performance. lead, coach and teach others on determining if preventive action and effectiveness check is adequate. Manage SCAR Tier III as required. Part Qualification Evaluate and qualify components or parts sourced from suppliers. Perform Production Process Validation at supplier's site. Review and provide recommendations to the Technical Product Owner (TPO) for Supplier Engineering Change Requests. Be responsible for activities related to cost reduction projects. Lead, coach and teach others on the appropriate usage of Part Qualification and have the ability to determine levels of Part Qualification to implement. lead, coach and teach others on the appropriate usage of Part Validation. Establish Part Validation protocols for new production processes. Supplier Development Ensure quality level with suppliers for effectively resolve occurred quality issues Identify optimization opportunities related to supplier production, process, technology and innovation. Support suppliers on development plan execution. Implement preferred supplier selection criteria. Teach and coach on tools and methods to used for supplier Capability assessment. Evaluate the design of existing components/materials to optimize manufacturability, propose alternative material, technology or processes. Supplier Relationship Management Maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, serving as a liaison between suppliers and Arjo representatives to ensure alignment with quality standards and expectations. Quality System Duties and Responsibilities: Embed quality into all aspects of work, maintaining strict compliance with all relevant quality requirements and regulatory standards.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience: Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering, quality management, or a relevant field. Be able to easily explain structure and design or products and opportunities where cost reduction may be available. Advanced level in project management and backlog management. Advanced level in English language skills, both written and verbal. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is perferred. Lead analysis using and problem-solving abilities. Be able to develop and successfully implement a change management plan to effectively lead organizational change.
