Roles & Responsibilities: * Design a strategic, goal based, data-driven marketing plan in alignment with the vision of the AoFE, and drive into the implementation. * Initiates and implements direct outreach marketing efforts to potential external customers on behalf the AoFE's programs and activities. * Build creative briefs, marketing plans and other guiding documents that set the goals and objectives for each campaign/project that outline and track a clear set of deliverables. * Determine sustainable and effective ways to work with divisions and business units across Academy to help them build high-quality, targeted, and on-brand efforts to reach their specific needs within the Academy’s overall marketing strategy. * Manage workflow, priorities and multiple projects at once. This position also makes decisions on a daily basis regarding which projects, events or marketing pieces will best advance the AoFE’s strategic initiatives and priorities. * Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop content for use across a variety of marketing platforms including publications, website, digital ads, press releases, social media and newsletters to appeal to a broad set of audiences including, but not limited to, education practitioners, prospective and current students, university partners, and a broad of community groups. * Evaluate markets and media through research, and other methods to continually identify new opportunities to get key AoFE messages to key audiences. Ensure industry best practices and outcomes that support the goals, brand, image, and mission of the Academy across all media channels. * Lead, mentor, inspire and supervise a 6-people team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Additional Requirements: 1. Occasionally the need to work on projects taking place “out-of-hours”, normally by prior arrangement, for which time off in lieu can be claimed. 2. Liaise with counterparts at peer schools or academies to ensure that the AoFE’s project/ programme follow best practice. 3. Maintain a good knowledge of Chinese education sector and, in particular of life-long learning. Qualifications: Essential: * Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years or Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. * Superior writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese. Required Competencies and Skills: * Process and detailed oriented with a strong understanding of how to deliver on strategy. * Able to persuade, demonstrate and reinforce the value of adhering to set digital market communications goals to content maintainers and creators. * Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment characterized by changing priorities. * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization. * Self-starter who can move quickly to find the right solution. Able to work independently, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and collaborate on team marketing communication plans. * Excellent oral communication skills, including proficiency in public/promotional speaking to support cross-team communication and persuasion for project commitment.
