Overview: The Maintenance Quality Engineer will manage and analyze all aftersales product field data from International markets where BISSELL actively sells products. This position will be responsible to communicate and drive corrective actions to address aftersales field issues. Next to this, the position assures that the actions are leveraged across product lines and into the new product development process. The ultimate goal for this position is to reduce the overall Cost of Quality for the company through the continuous improvement, sharing product quality insights and close internal cooperation on potential product improvement actions. Responsibilities: 1. First point of contact for product quality concerns with international distributors, retailers, warranty centers, and BISSELL internal stakeholders.
2. Managing all product quality data for all categories assigned
3. Supporting the overall organization with product quality analysis and periodic quality reporting.
4. Managing all Post-sales Consumer Call Center and Warranty Data as assigned
· Deep dives into data to analyze.
· Monitor and follow up on first months of new product launches (NPD).
· Product Repair and Replacement Data (Warranty)
5. Manage and communicate new product incident catalog, including IRIS/fault coding management.
6. Coordinate and analyze high frequent failed units with authorized service and returns centers, either by sending units to the manufacturer for analysis or onsite visits at the repair and returns center for joint analysis.
7. Managing the integrity of the data being reported by authorized service and returns centers.
8. Driving future serviceability improvements based on current service struggles.
9. Providing formal deep dive and response to Sales for retailer/distributor complaints (e.g., Andon cords)
10. Authoring Technical Service Bulletins and Alerts for distribution to appropriate groups
11. Identify corrective actions and help drive design standards to prevent future failures.
12. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: · Degree minimum: 5-year technical or equivalent prior experience
· Specific concentration: Engineering Preferred
· Experience level: 3+ years within Quality related field
