The role will be the focal person of the Principal Office to communicate with parents, students, governments and other agencies as well as to coordinate internal departments. The role will be also involved in the implementation of customer services management, such as catering, transportation arrangements, fire and security, emergency management and others to ensure all the customer services running smoothly and safely.
School Office Duties:
l Acting as a first port of call for all communication with the Principal, especially from parents, staff, governments and outside agencies
l Marketing the school to others, and working with the school’s marketing team to produce high quality external output
l Meeting and greeting visitors to the school
l Arranging the programm for all external visits, in liaison with the Principal and Regional Team
l Liaising with all other administration staff in the school, and the school’s ancillary staff, such as drivers, to enhance the school’s efficiency in all its operations
l Taking responsibility for the coordination of staff housing and related issues
Fire & Security
l Providing guidance to the Security Guards to ensure the school is locked and unlocked at
appropriate times, with regular walks around the school premises.
l Maintain regular checks on all fire and security systems; maintaining logs of all checks with
relevant security and fire contractors.
l Arrange and follow up on resolving any issues arising during Fire Drills as necessary.
l Initiate the necessary procedure quickly and accurately relating to the emergency services.
Emergency Management
l Manage the development and implementation of emergency egress plans to appropriate areas.
l Manage the development and documentation in conjunction with the Senior Management team
of a campus wide Emergency Management plan including emergency response guidelines.
l Fire drills arrangement and planning.
Catering
l In conjunction with the school administration team oversee the process for the appointment of
a catering firm to provide catering services.
l To manage the catering service ensuring the high levels of customer service are achieved through the delivery of a high standard service, full compliance with food quality guidance, hygiene regulation etc…
Transportation
l In conjunction with the school administration team, oversee the process of arranging suitable
transportation of students to and from school. This will involve the appointment of an outsourced
bus provider.
l Determine possible public transport options.
l Develop strategies to accommodate for students being driven independently to school.
l Explore options for transporting students to and from external sporting and other activities.
l Arrange and manage transportation for school staff and update the staff bus routes as required
Experience/Qualifications/Skills
l Above 8 years relevant working experience
l Bachelor’s Degree or above
