Job Purpose Program manager supporting New Product Development (NPD) programs for Power Solution Group(PSG). Lead cross-functional teams to achieve new product development and successful new products release to market on time. Manage new product development programs, processes, deliverables and budget within project scope and success criteria.
Duties and Responsibilities 61 Program/Project manager of various types of derivative technology platform program/projects. 61 Build and lead global cross functional new product development teams per program/project level. 61 Focal point of contact and a coordinator and manages all communications to global cross-functional teams. 61 Drive the definition of project objectives, scope, & success criteria to meet stakeholder requirements, plan and manage program/project plans based on NPD process of ON Semiconductor. 61 Ensure that programs are delivered on-time, within scope, on budget and meet agreed upon success criteria. 61 Coordinate global resources in the pursuit of flawless execution 61 Identify and actively manage program risks 61 Manage changes to the program scope and program schedule 61 Initiate & lead problem resolution activities as warranted 61 Report and escalate issues to management as needed 61 Review program status with senior management and other stakeholders. 61 Create and maintain PM program documentation
Qualifications 61 Strong background and proven record in program management in semiconductor development/manufacturing. 61 A Bachelor or advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor field, or advanced degree in technical disciplines. 61 Demonstrated communication skills by verbal/written communication, leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills in global teams. 61 Solid planning methodology in the most detailed activity level to make the best case, including proactive risk analysis and mitigation skills.. 61 Successful leadership of multi-discipline, multi-cultural, semiconductor backend and/or frontend technology development teams. 61 Problem solving logics to identify the situational methodology and the pathway from various inputs by multifunctional experts, and to keep functional teams to be well activated. 61 Process oriented with emphasis on clear and documented communication. 61 High quality reporting skills using various tools. 61 Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects. 61 Eligible to travel international. 61 Mush be passionate and willing to learn new situations.
