Responsibilities: 1. Technical communication to customer, confirm customer application and technical requirement. 2. Review the specifications of the commercial high-voltage connector and develop a test plan based on the specific requirements provided by the customer. 3. Perform necessary treatments on the test samples in order to get them in the condition to be tested. These treatments can be cutting, stripping, soldering, gluing, etc. Ensure the status or conditions of the test samples comply with the requirement of test. 4. Involve in the improved product design regarding to the product DV and PV test methods, test fixture, and standards/specs. 5. Tracking test progress, analysis the test result, responsible for resolving product design and test problems. 6. Responsible for part list/BOM building, 3D models and 2D drawings, GD&T, product specifications, application specifications, DFMEA, DVPR, SC/CC list etc. 7. Lead the design review for compliance with engineering principles, high voltage standards, customer contract requirements, verification and related specifications. 8. Lead design review with cross functional teams to confirm the manufacturing and quality control feasibility. 9. Support test manager/leader to develop test capability and competency. 10. Be familiar with specification of high voltage is preferred. 11. Be familiar with specifications of Volvo is preferred.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills: 1. Bachelor or above degree in Engineering – mechanical, automation, electrical engineering, vehicle Engineering or related disciplines. 2. Understand and analyze the test related technical documents 3. Familiar with environment, vibration, mechanical and electrical test method. 4. Preferred that experience of the test sample preparation and test machine operation. Strong hands-on skills e.g. measuring contact resistance, gluing thermal coupler, soldering wires 5. Preferred that knowledge of EV high voltage system architecture and high voltage connector application and international standards and high voltage/current design for EV. 6. Familiar with GD&T, mechanics of plastic/metal materials, and basic knowledge in injection molding, stamping. 7. Familiar with automotive product development, automotive products development process like APQP and PPAP. 8. Skilled in at least one 3D Software: Creo or Pro/E or Catia or UG. Mastery of office software such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc. 9. Self motivated and accountable. 10. Good interpersonal and communication and negotiation skills. Good time management skills. 11. Good English in reading and writing.
