Position Overview: The LabVIEW Software Engineer is an integral part of our Electronics & Electrical Systems product development organization. This position supports our electronics embedded system qualifications and involves working closely with other engineers, including those specializing in hardware, software, quality assurance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience in NI LabVIEW software design and a passion for problem-solving and debugging. Job Description: 61 Design and develop general testers to support various motor control modules, such as those with different voltages and control schemes. 61 Assist leadership in achieving speed, usability, and robustness objectives for all related systems, components, and sub-assemblies. 61 Translate customer requirements into software specifications. 61 Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all work performed. 61 Analyze complex technical situations and make sound decisions. 61 Collaborate with team members and train technicians to use the testing rig. Employee Specifications: 61 Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or higher from an accredited electrical or automation engineering college. 61 5+ years of experience in tester/fixture development using LabVIEW. 61 Extensive knowledge of writing and debugging National Instruments PXI. 61 Familiarity with embedded software development processes and controls, including version control, unit testing, and bug tracking. 61 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and overseas team members. 61 Ability to handle 2-3 concurrent tasks. 61 Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
