Our sustainability team at Logitech is growing. We are currently looking for a Senior Sustainability Engineer to support environmental compliance management.
In this role you will support our multiple functions to roll out reports, interface with stakeholders and summarize a high level report for decision. What you will do: - Lead material compliance testing and coordination. - Cross-function work with stakeholders and address any material compliance risks - Review substance test reports and justify material compliance - Team management and mentor newcomers for testing - Equipment calibration and gage R&R across different supply chain - Due diligence management in the supplier chain - New legislation tracking and developing material testing - Continuous development in procedure in testing and system robust - Communicate with third-party lab and cost-saving driving
What you will bring: - Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance programs. - Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for REACH, RoHS, EU POPs, and USA EPA TSCA. - Experience identifying high-risk substances, materials, and components in electronic products. - Understanding of materials testing methods like XRF, FTIR, and GC/LC MS. - Experience supporting ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems. - Effective team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams. - Proficient in data analysis and integration. - Good writing and reading in English
