Our business in China is a key pillar of Logitech’s future thus a dedicated & talented team is created with the mission of “in china for china to fulfill the future growth You will be in the rapidly growing “in china for China “ team and play a senior project manager role in executing a new product pipeline in a range of segments, including human-interface devices, personal working place solutions, human-computer interaction, and other emerging technologies in China. You will be responsible for managing a completed product life cycle (from concept to end of life ) , including Hardware and associated Software programs in the CFC team. You will be in close partnership with our marketing, innovation, ID/CMF design, engineering, operation, and manufacturing to drive the management of project design and development. These are the behaviors you’ll need for success at Logitech. - Lead new product development, introduction, and sustain product lifecycle management: o Lead and staff a project team in multi-functions and multi-sites, and deliver project users’ experience, cost, and quality; o Coordinate problem-solving activities to improve processes, resolve non-conformances, and help maximize the C&P engineering team performance (safety, sustainability, quality, productivity, and cost); o Collaborate with in-house manufacture, or contract manufacturers to assure successful product development, launch, and sustaining activities; o Manage BOM of products and identify the opportunities of value engineering with functional leaders, and conduct CIP projects of C&P China. o Implement ECO changes to product and manufacturing processes - Coordinate the technical and engineering evaluation and assessment of new conception which aims to seize opportunities or tackle the challenges of China market; - Accomplish operational objectives by overseeing and motivating multiple project activities: o Set project objective and track the progress of and for the team and team members; o Prioritize tasks, assign individual work and monitor the progress of the assignment; o Provide timely feedback to concerned leaders to support team members’ career development; o Create and demonstrate motivation of project team. - Facilitate the communication in project gates control, troubleshooting, problem-solving, failure analysis, corrective action processes, and project knowledge as required: o Identify, evaluate and escalate the risks associated with project activities; o Monitor actions to control the risks and drive solutions; o Organize the project lesson learned and coordinate collected data translation to project knowledge systematically with functional leaders. Key Qualifications For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: - Minimum 7 years of project management experience & expertise with proven leadership of project development in the consumer electronics industry and a high-tech environment; - Demonstrated ability & experience to work independently under fast-changing ,highly competitive business environment and collaboratively across Functions - Practical knowledge of project management concepts and implementation project team-leading skills; - Ability to develop comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar industry-standard scheduling tools; - Proficient in the use of Agile document control for part creation, bills of material creation, and change orders; - Proficient in the use of Google Docs, MS-Office, or similar industry-standard tools; - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include: - Formal Project Management Training and Certification (PMP).
