Major Duties Support for Regional category management Under alignment with Global Category Manager and Business Unit, develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality and delivery performance. Lead cross-reductions projects and continuous improvement initiatives Support the achievement of purchasing targets and contribute to the internal planning process for the category objectives Utilize procurement analytics tools to track key performance indicators and generate actionable insights Conduct sourcing projects with strategic approach. Compliance & Risk Management Ensures that the SCHOTT compliance regulations, corporate guidelines and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are obeyed and executed well. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Formal Education and Training:Bachelor degree, major in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Electronic.
Occupational Experience:Min. 5 years purchasing experience in multi-national company with strong strategic purchasing skills. Very good English communication skills is a must.
Additional Knowledge Requirements:An excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
