This Advanced Systems Engineer will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of Electric Actuated Valves. You will report directly to SETS Engineering Manager and work out of our Suzhou location. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to develop actuator and valves solutions, which are vital to our Thermal Solution product portfolio strategy. You need to drive innovations, quality, and performance products. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions. Key responsibilities 80 Collaborate with Offering Manager to do market research, understand market needs, customer demands and competitor products to define unique selling points and key features of Honeywell new products, and aligning with business STRAP, work out and maintain NPI roadmap and key milestones. 80 Assess available technologies, evaluate technical feasibilities, and identify risk mitigations. 80 From system engineer perspectives, support Program Manager to lead and execute NPI projects of from initial requirements captured through analysis, design, approval, implementation, and test. Ensure all deliverables on commitment and launch product with performance defined in MRD. 80 Lead accomplishment of design tests, evaluation, and enhancement. 80 Lead implement engineering change per product continuation, improvement, or cost reduction. 80 Lead product development for customer specials and perform value engineering (VE). 80 Ensure effective support for manufacturing, quality, sales and other cross functions for new product introduction, and maintenance of current product lines, quality issues and manufacturing problems. 80 Support certification for Honeywell thermal portfolio. 80 Drive the results required by the business and behaviors. Qualifications 80 Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as electronic engineering, mechanical & automatic engineering, etc. 80 6+ years of experience in actuator and valve R&D development. And at least 3 years NPI lead experience. 80 Proven expertise in system level insight and technical capability about actuator and valves, including experience of supporting certification/approvals. 80 Strong technical problem-solving capability, troubleshooting skills and track record. 80 Outstanding communication and collaboration with cross functional teams. 80 Self-motivated and team-oriented personality. 80 Interested in working in fast paced and driving for results. 80 Able to work in global collaborating environment with intensive challenges. 80 Travel up to 10% of the time is required in this role. Skills 80 Profound understanding of the working principles of various actuators (such as electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators) and valves (including ball valves, butterfly valves, and control valves) is essential. 80 The ability to design actuator and valve systems that meet specific process requirements, including knowledge of piping systems, fluid mechanics, and control system integration. 80 For electric actuators, understanding electrical circuits, motor control, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is necessary to ensure proper operation and integration with the overall system. 80 Proficiency in CAD software for drawing system diagrams, designing architecture, and visualizing the layout of actuator and valve systems. 80 The skill to quickly diagnose and solve problems that occur in actuators and valves, as well as performing regular maintenance to ensure their reliable operation. This requires knowledge of testing equipment and procedures. 80 MS-Office / SAP experience.
