The AP specialist will play a critical role in the operations of a strong AP function across the region. This role supports the AP Lead in the daily operations of the parables function and other ad-hoc assignments as required. The role is also critical in ensuring the timely and accurate payment of invoices and maintaining good relationships with vendors. This is a regional role, and will need close coordination with the operational businesses, regional tax & treasury, and local banks across the regions.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do: 61 Daily operations: Process and verify supplier invoices, prepare and process payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing and financial reporting. 61 Vendor maintenance: Maintain vendor records, perform vendor verification and handle queries related to payments. 61 Account monitoring: Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date, reconcile monthly statements and liaise with vendors for discrepancies. 61 Internal stakeholder management: Support the AP Lead in communication with internal departments to handle queries and resolve any discrepancies. 61 Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of all payable transactions. 61 Filing system maintenance: Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for invoices, payment records, and other financial documents. 69 Requirements: 61 Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. 61 Prior experience with Oracle Fusion advantageous. 61 Strong attention to detail, exceptional attitude, high degree of professionalism and discretion. 61 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 61 Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Must haves 61 Can read and speak English (average proficiency will do) as this role will also handle the SG/MY markets. 61 For a start, this will be a remote role that will need to work in office once or twice a month. We might take this role full-time in office if we move to a larger office. 61 Open to contract and perm staff. 61 Need not be ambitious, this will be a stable role with a limited progression plan.
