SUMMARY
Conduct the technical support to sales team for project development and quality claim, visiting customer and offer technical solutions, writing technical report timely.
Product development with trials, test in lab accord with HSE requirement.
Working with global automotive team to coordinate trials, test and customer communications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
61 Working in lab with mixing, milling, extrusion machine etc. accord with HSE requirement, keep good 5S in working place, keep safety in lab, traveling and customer site.
61 Visiting customer with sales or independently for trials and quality issues, also support new application development.
61 Preparation of technical presentation and visit reports, present to customers and internal teams, coordinate internal T&D, QC, process and production teams to offer technical solutions to customers.
61 Support PPAP,APQP and IATF 16949 certification, lead 8D reporting.
61 Visiting external labs or institute for quality issue investigation.
61 Updating internal files for projects following, quality claim list and so on.
61 Working with global automotive teams to coordinate trials, test and customer communications, pushing global projects moving forward.
61 Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
61 Any additional responsibilities or tasks assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
61 Requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical related majors, 6 years professional working experience, or master’s degree with 4 years working experience.
61 Strong working knowledge and skills of polymers processing, PVC processing and formulating will be a plus.
61 Automotive interior working experience, PPAP, APQP,8D report and FMEA knowledge.
61 Knowledge of IATF 16949 certification.
61 Familiar with chemical analysis methods, such as FT-IR, SEM-EDX and so on.
61 Accept frequent domestic business trips, seldom oversea business trips and flexible working hours.
61 Ability to work under pressure and self-motivated, proactive and driven.
61 Ability to research/resolve problems or issues in a timely manner.
61 Experience leading project/work teams indirectly.
61 Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in a corporate environment.
61 Strong skills in technical presentation and reporting to customers.
61 Both fluent written and oral English, CET-6.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
