JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support determining US harmonized tariff codes to imported merchandise and maintain classification data in SAP and Amber Road
2. Ensures the clearance process for imports and exports are properly managed to avoid flags, risk and intervention from Customs and other government agencies.
3. Main point of contact to China Customs in resolution of any Trade Compliance issues with the support of local management team
4. Avoids the detainment of international shipments by communicating with service providers and creating required documentation to clear Customs
5. Oversee preparation submission, and administration of import and export licenses, agreements, and miscellaneous correspondence to cognizant government agencies.
6. Complete ISF filling process
7. Vendor MID management and maintenance


Qualification

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2. International Trade/Supply Chain Qualifications
3. Tariff classification knowledge and skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
5. Basic verbal and written communication skills
