The main missions of the role are to: The role of an Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) Engineer is to ensure the execution of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and its completion in due time and follow up the performance of the supplier. The main missions of the role are to: 1. APQP Management during Development phases: 84 Deploy APQP related to the Development phase of Purchased Parts. 84 Define the Risk and suppliers to be followed. 84 Insure that suppliers sourced respect Mandatory rules and Audit criteria. 84 Get Feasibility Commitment sign off for sourcing and for change implementation. 84 Define Supplier APQP plan with objectives, risk assessment, critical suppliers, critical parts, key milestones, deliverables, R@R and PPAP planning, resources & supports needs. 84 Update every month the supplier APQP Plan. 84 Participate at Design Review Meeting and ECR Meeting. 84 Facilitate exchanges between functions and suppliers for design freeze convergence. 84 Escalate Alerts to Program and Management. Support suppliers for 8D completion. 84 Train the suppliers and make sure that the defined standards are properly applied (APQP elements), 84 Follow the APQP progress with status report. 84 Use of Lessons learned from prior programs, as input to SNC 2. Run @ Rate & Process Audit: 84 Manage the Process Qualification at Supplier (Control Plan & Quality Basics implementation). 84 Conduct FPT & MPT Run@Rate and Process Audit for High and Medium risk components. 84 Get from suppliers their control record (i.e: raw material certification…) for all parts. 3. PPAP construction: 84 Responsible for PPAP construction and New parts Approval during Development phase. 84 Coordinate with SQA Production Trial Runs on New parts during Development phase. 84 Ensure that 100% of S/R parts will be validated at GR3. 4. Transition to series: 84 Ensure that All documentations are updated. 84 100% of S/R characteristics secured. 84 Ensure that Incoming Inspection instructions integrate control means according supplier’s Control Plan. 5. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have/be: 84 Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialisation in Quality 84 Minimum 4 years experience as an ASQ in an industrial environment 84 Results oriented 84 Strong written and oral communications skills 84 Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
