Responsibility: The actuator design engineer is responsible for mechanical design with reference to mandate given by the manager and/or appointed Lead Engineer.
? Actuator related products (e-Axle Shifting Actuator) and components design and application. ? Project product feasibility study (actuator interface and kinematics) and propose solution bases on customer requirement and requirement analysis; technical communication with customer at quotation phase; create and release quotation engineering BOM; support lead engineer/sales/PM to complete project quotation; support A sample based on customer requirement ? Create/release 3/2D of parts and assembly; support SQD/Purchaser to nominate supplier from technical side, technical communication with supplier about thermoplastic parts and metal parts and check DFM and parts feasibility; create/release product assembly sequence and support production engineer to assess product assembly; assess the simulation items of product (abuse load, vibration mode…) and dimensions which need tolerance stack calculation and support FEA teams to finish the simulation and 3DCS calculation; create/manage BOM/ECN/DFMEA/Critical feature list etc engineering document in PLM system; support validation team to finish and assess DVP and finish the items lead engineer distributes by; solve the issues occurred in DV and customer vehicle test ? Support production team to solve part and assembly issue; check/assess the part status before DV and solve the issue occurred in PV; support project team to finish PPAP approval. ? Support on market issue if there is and VAVE related works. ? Benchmark and innovation concept involvement and concept design; daily work including time of work input/performance self-assessment/skill matrix self-assessment; lessons learn and product handbook involvement. ? Support on global project and localization project, technical communication with European team.
.Qualifications: 1. Education - master or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanic) or adequate local degree 2. Work experience- preferably from automotive powertrain or transmission components (4 years or more) 3. Proficient in Catia (Solidworks or other equivalent) to design part 3/2D, familiar with GD&T. 4. Familiar with Aluminium die-casting and metal part design, good understanding of metal material property/heat treatment/surface treatment. 5. Good English spoken and written and can take part in global design task. 6. Familiar with Electrical Actuator is a plus. 7. Familiar with AMT transmission shifting system and e-Axle shifting system are plus. 8. Good understanding of Sintered/forged/MIM part design and manufacturing process is a plus. 9. Good communication skill and team player, passionate and accountable.
