Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This work would include but not limit to medical device plastic, sheet metal, die-casting, labeling and packaging design.
Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other internal/external teams and contributes to the area.
Develop product concepts, detail 3D/2D design, tolerance analysis, as well as DFX (Reliability, Manufacturing, Cost, etc.).
Interact closely with core team members, sourcing, quality, manufacturing etc., to meet project deliverables and goals.
A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and team play.
Required Qualifications
BS or above in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience (or equivalent knowledge / experience).
Experience in mechanical design, project engineering, familiar with plastic, sheet metal, die casting and standard parts design and manufacturing process.
Expertise with CAD software (Creo, UG, SolidWorks).
Experience with new product development or design change development cycle.
Engineering logic thinking and strong willing of growing-up.
Strong oral and written communication skills. (Mandarin and English).
