- Expertise in operation of fiber equipment and specific mechanical and environmental equipment. Mostly work on fiber cable performance test, fiber connectivities performance test and failure root cause analysis.
- Designs fixtures to be used in accepted testing.
- Mentors Associate Lab Technicians in regards to standardized lab methods and industry standards as it pertains to product development.
- Coordinates test requirements and utilizes appropriate test methods and capabilities. Conducts system test preparations by coordinating fabrications, modifications, and setups.
- Conducts tests, analyzes data, and documents results with little supervision of Senior Lab Technician or Lab Manager. Participates in test data reviews.
- Utilizes automation to collect the data necessary to populate formalized test reports. Supports and improves existing test platforms including full integration of measurement tools with various lab equipment.
- Participates in skills proficiency development including, but not limited to, webinars and reviewing industry standards and standardized lab test methods
