About the job:
Based upon the Alfa Laval sourcing objectives, commodity strategy and initiatives from the Handshake Process, execute and develop the Optimal Supplier Base solution regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost on the goods/services to be delivered to specified sites in line with Alfa Laval Purchasing Process.
Key tasks:
Create/update supplier agreements considering optimal total cost, risk exposure, product mix.
Follow up supplier audit/business principle audit deviations to ensure suppliers to meet Alfa Laval demanding.
Support with sourcing strategy inputs from China/East Asia region perspective and execute commodity sourcing strategy.
Support new product introduction sourcing activity.
Identification of new suppliers and consolidation of supplier base.
Execute supplier qualification procedures.
Drive commercial development activities and supplier development
Drive assigned tasks for corrective actions regarding suppliers Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
Meet performance target by working closely with global commodities responsible.
Responsible for supplier improvement activities, act as resolution leader in PIM (Purchasing Improvement Meeting) assignment.
Act as Product Group coordinator as per assignment.
What you know:
Knowledge:
5+ years relevant experience in sourcing area
Bachelor's degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering
Material knowledge, familiar with mechanical and chemical properties
Raw material manufacturing process knowledge
Skills:
