Key Tasks and Responsibilities 61 Lead Improvement Initiatives: Spearhead continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, quality assurance, safety, and process optimization. 61 Implement Global Standards: Apply and monitor global best practices and improvement standards, such as Lean and 5S, to ensure excellence in our production processes. This role requires a hands-on approach to implementing these standards under the strategic guidance of the Improvement Program Manager. 61 Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate closely with production teams, engineers, and other departments to align on improvement goals and leverage expertise across the organization. 61 Support New Product Introductions (NPI): Play a key role in the seamless transition of new products into production, ensuring all processes meet VIKING’s high standards. 61 Data-Driven Execution: Utilize analytics to evaluate performance, identify practical improvement opportunities, and report progress toward established goals. 61 Foster Continuous Improvement Culture: Conduct Kaizen events and improvement workshops to inspire a mindset of ongoing development within the team.
Desired Qualifications 61 Educational Background: Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field. 61 Experience with Improvement Programs: Proven experience in continuous improvement roles, with hands-on familiarity in Lean principles and other efficiency-driven methodologies. 61 Analytical Skills with Practical Focus: Strong ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable improvements that support the strategic goals defined by the Improvement Program Manager. 61 Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with key improvement tools and methods, including: 61 Strong Communication Skills: Capable of engaging and motivating team members at various levels across the organization. 61 Languages: Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
