The jobholder is responsible for the Product Quality Assurance for Barco’s business/ operation. He/She is responsible for realizing quality and performance improvement initiatives during the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
61 Ensure that field and internally quality issues are resolved using professional problem-solving methods, including tear down inspection, test design, possible causes analysis and validation, improvement close loop follow up etc.
61 Make overall product quality control plan to ensure the product quality matches to the required standards and regulations.
61 Understand production process and quality control points of transfer projects and consolidate them into future quality control plan using the most advanced inspection method.
61 Work with SQM team to review supplier correction/corrective actions from customer perspective.
61 Maintain uniformity in process/procedures/working practices.
61 Contribute to quality improvement programs, projects, audits. Keep continuous improvement thinking and action within Barco.
61 Motivate & train the teams to be Quality oriented.
61 Other tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.

Education:
61 Bachelor's or above in a technical field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Experience:
61 At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in electronic
61 Familiar with projector or other similar products will be a plus.
61 Experience in transfer projects or supplier management will be a plus.
