About the role
The BE BOM Sourcing Manager will be part of a focused, high caliber procurement team and will have responsibility for develop and implementing procurement strategy for a broad spectrum of Backend Materials (Metal-based).
The sourcing manager concerns complex international global projects, including global stakeholder management, and international negotiations.
You should be able to work with a high degree of independence by establishing international sourcing strategies with stakeholders, while working to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
Proven experience in managing multiple, simultaneous, complex sourcing events, and contractual activities is required.
What you will do:
Commodity Management
61 Accountable for constant monitoring of supply markets for Backend Materials and ensure to exploit these supply market trends for the benefit of the business
61 Accountable for the development, review and approval of Back End wide sourcing strategies for metal-based materials together with the Commodity Team. Includes the translation of customer needs into supply requirements.
61 Perform market research to obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies
61 Analysis of spend categories and market conditions for appropriate application of sourcing strategies.
61 Responsible for the execution of the sourcing strategies by site teams: analyze and monitor the actual execution of the sourcing strategy
Cost Management
61 Lead commercial negotiations consisting cross-functional international team members
61 Establish Negotiation Plans for Key Backend Materials
61 Develop, update and review the purchasing budgets, price roadmaps & actual pricing for complete Backend material (metal-based) portfolio
Supplier and Supply Management
61 Accountable for fact-based choices in selecting, categorizing and developing supply base together with the commodity team.
61 Maintain close relationship with supplier’s key account manager, to ensure proper deployment of Nexperia’s requirements at supplier and be the focal point for any escalations towards supplier.
61 Accountable for regular performance (supplier rating) & business reviews with suppliers
61 Ensure involvement of purchasing and suppliers in product creation processes and facilitate supplier integration in order fulfillment processes
Process Management
61 Drive implementation of program tools in order to achieve Purchasing operations excellence
61 Report and manage performance measurements for Backend Materials and drive improvement projects, so that business requirements and objectives are met
Contract Management
61 Accountable for preparation, conclusion and execution of contracts with the suppliers in order to cover Nexperia’s risks and to optimize results on aspects like supply volume and flexibility, product specifications, quality and reliability levels, and pricing: settle and justify all commercial/pricing agreements
What you will need:
61 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
61 Strong Negotiation and Analytical Skills
61 Strong Project Management and Leadership Skills
61 Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
61 ＞8 years of international Direct Materials for Backend sourcing experience; preferably with technical knowledge of Semiconductor Backend Leadframe, Solder Paste and Wires
61 Experience in managing international commercial procurement projects
61 Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities at one time
61 Ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambiguous global environment supporting multiple time zones
61 Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
61 Strong teamwork and collaboration skills on an international level
