Responsibilities: to define technically the production process options for new products, technically supports production, and innovates consolidated productions aiming to continuous improvement.
1.0 Main tasks & responsibilities
1. Collects the information necessary for the development for the prototype and serial part occasionally with direct contact with customer; If necessary, suggest customer device design changes or modifications in the specifications, in order to guarantee the full feasibility of the manufacturing, its safety, quality, repeatability and economy. 2. Defines the processing methods, process technologies, lean manufacturing, optimizing production and equipment costs. 3. Designs simple fixtures and tools necessary for manipulating and protecting the pieces following the suppliers involved. 4. Prepares production machinery through appropriate programming languages, so that the prototype or workpiece is processed in accordance with specifications. 5. Estimates the costs of prototype production and serial production and provides the business manager with the data necessary for the commercial offers. 6. Issues the working cycle, ensuring compliance with the Quality Plan. 7. Defines and inserts into the ERP management software the standard production times (routing). 8. Verifies the correspondence of production times with the predicted ones, introducing corrective actions if needed. 9. Defines and puts in place for consolidated parts, concerted improvement actions about the quality of machined components, resolution of non-compliance, production time and cost reduction. 10. Collaborates with the production manager to train the production personnel, to ensure the correct execution of the working cycles. 11. Technically supports production if problems arise. 12. Monitors the work progress and, in case of delays, identifies and implements corrective actions. 13. Prepares, executes and compiles validation protocols and operating instructions to ensure that machines and products meet the desired characteristics. 14. 3.0 Knowledge and Education
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or Physics or Material Science.
4.0 Experience At least 3 years of proven experience in similar positions Biomedical or Technical coatings is a plus
