Purpose of Job Responsible for Machining process and Assemnly process quality monitoring, control and improvement.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Active participation in daily quality problems-shooting, as well as analyze & resolve suspect part and the customer complaint according to NC process. 2. Ensure the quality management program execution to comply with IATF16949 requirements and continuously drive quality improvement. 3. Execute the quality check and control of assembly processes, review and confirm the audit failures for further actions to be taken. 4. Focus on process quality control, Review control plan with manufacturing engineer for key characteristic together; 5. Collect process quality data, use data analysis software (such as Minitab) to draw quality trend chart, Platon, etc., and drive decision quality improvement by data (FPY, high scrap, high customer impact issues); 6. Create quality guarantee document (Inspection instruction, Measurement technology instruction, Quality record sheet) & review regularly 7. Responsible for product audit and MPA, participate in LPA and 3rd part and customer audit 8. Participate in APQP and PPAP, includes production line design, CP, PFMEA Review, new gage design etc., and formulate preventive actions; 9. Lead problem resolving using RCPS/ 8D-process, Coordinate cross functions teams to join quality issue solving; 10. Train quality inspector or production operator (Quality technology, Basic measurement, Record sheet).
Experience & Background
1. Graduated from a relevant major like manufacturing, mechnical engineering or other industrial discipline, Bachelor degree required. 2. Min. 3 years as a fully educated quality control engineer in an ISO or TS certificated manufacturing company. 3. Metrology (Calibration, GD&T, Measurement) and Quality tools (Pareto, Cause&Effect Diagrams) 4. PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA (TS core tools) 5. Problem solving (4Step,8D) 6. Experience in a ISO/TS16949 driven manufacturing evnironment is prefered
