1-Support QA Supervisor and/or QA manager and/or Quality Director, to establish and manage the designated objectives, goals and KPI's, and report progress periodically to the QA Supervisor and/or QA manager and/or Quality Director if required.
2-Work proactively with performance results to ensure the supplier quality compliance and to drive for continuous quality improvement for Dorel Juvenile Global Markets.
3-Process requirements/specifications:
1) Support the supplier in developing Standard Operating Process Instructions to specifically describe how to perform a required task and steps and tools necessary to achieve good products.
2) Support supplier in setting up and maintaining process specifications to produce the highest level of quality throughout the entire manufacturing / assembly process
3) Support supplier in setting up clear process instructions and machine settings, and support supplier in having those under control
4) Be early involved in New Product Development in order to support supplier in setting-up quality control processes/instructions
4-Training and coaching
1) Identify with supplier and Dorel division the gaps in manufacturing, missing information or requirements, potential misunderstanding and suggest proposals for improvement.
2) Assist in the training and education of staff (Workers & QC).
5-Problem Solving and Quality Improvement:
1) Set up regular on-site supplier audits with supplier staff report eventual issues to Supplier and Dorel
2) Support the analysis, root cause identification, implementation of corrective actions, verification of correction actions and feedback for all issues identified locally or reported by Dorel entities.
3) Support the supplier is improving the supplier incoming inspection process and the supplier quality control processes.
4) Monitor open issues and non-conformances, verification of permanent corrective actions
5) Support supplier in implementing Quality KPIs throughout the plant and manage communication to appropriate departments
6-Any other tasks related to quality as set by the QA Supervisor and/or QA Manager and/or Quality Director.
Job Profile：
1、 Bachelor degree or College Degree, Technical Degree or above
2、 Experience with Juvenile Products, Toys, Sewing, or Textile is preferred
3、 Knowledge of fabric, sewing manufacturing, and/or component or assembly manufacturing processes.
4、 Over 5-years working experience in Quality related field is a must.
5、 Good understanding and working experience in Quality assurance and Quality improvement
6、 Knowledge and experience of applying statistical tools and methods to problem solving in a quality or process improvement area
7、 Knowledge and experience of 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing are preferred
8、 Self-starter and ability to work independently
9、 Proficient in English reading and writing. Good spoken English desired
10、Knowledgeable in the use of the Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
