SUMMARY The Designer for packaging is responsible for designing all possible deliverables within Packaging to support our house of brands. They will partner with global, functional and cross-functional groups within the company work through package design projects from concept to completion. This person will be expected to solve business needs through smart design solutions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 61 Solve business needs through smart design solutions 61 Take direction and apply that to designs 61 Reach design solutions with guidance 61 Work with team leads to prioritize work 61 Ensure all milestones and deadlines are met 61 Participate in new concept development 61 Interpret feedback and solve to that appropriately 61 Provide multiple design solutions for one creative challenge 61 Inform photoshoots to ensure that photography is on par with aligned art direction 61 Present your work 61 Other duties and responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 61 3+ years’ experience 61 Understanding of strategy, hierarchy of messaging and visual communication 61 Working knowledge of structure and print production EDUCATION & SKILLS 61 Bachelor’s degree in Design, or completion of a Portfolio program 61 Intermediate Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Pages, and Numbers with a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign required, and managing these files from an organizational standpoint 61 Ability to think quickly and strategically 61 Ability to think creatively and flexibly 61 Works well with others, with the ability to build trust with the team and work effectively in a highly-collaborative team environment 61 Understanding of strategy, messaging and visual communication 61 Working knowledge of structure and print production 61 Attention to detail COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS 61 Must be proficient in MAC operating systems, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge use of Microsoft Office Sutie01–Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. 61 Must have excellent hand mock-up skills.
