Minimum Qualification and Experience: i. Higher Certificate / Higher Diploma in Building / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years' experience or Degree holder with at least 4 years' relevant experience. ii. The relevant experience in ABWF / miscellaneous civil works, must have been gained within the previous 4 years and have experience in large scale Hong Kong projects or similar international projects. iii. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. iv. Be fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Be fluent in spoken Putonghua.
Particular Inspection Duties: i. Record in & out materials with traceability system. ii. Record the inspections in line with HK statutory frequency (TCP requirements under the Code of Practice for Site Supervision). iii. Check materials and mill certificates. iv. Check aluminium/ glazing cladding and assembly dimensions. v. Check aluminium/ glazing cladding aesthetic appearance. vi. Check resin bonded flooring fabrication and quality. vii. Check bespoke furniture fabrication and quality. viii. Check door fabrication and quality. ix. Check other miscellaneous ABWF works fabrication and quality. x. Check colour, finish and gloss uniformity. xi. Check coating adhesion. xii. Check panel flatness. xiii. Inspect factory internal QC testing, documentation and labelling. xiv. Inspect final assembled products to ensure that they have been fabricated according to the approved drawings. xv. Check packing numbering system of the final products. xvi. Check packing and protection of the final assembled products. xvii. Check identification, storage and records for samples.
