Drive sales from China to Hyve global events, including space, sponsorship/advertisement and technical products, by selling to agents and individual exhibitors, to achieve revenue targets and other business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge of event related industry sectors from market research or intelligence, associations, media, competitive events, agent communication, sales conversation and etc - Share industry knowledge and work with event teams, marketing team to develop effective sales and marketing plans to deliver targeted revenue of sales from China - Execute sales activities and campaigns, such as sales calls, F2F meetings, roadshows and etc to develop sales opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. - Sell sponsorship and advertisement to improve Chinese exhibitors' ROI. - Coordinate agent and event team to reach upon realistic but challenging sales targets and work together under agent sales agreement with motivating commissions, incentives and sales support. - Work with sales agents closely to deliver effective agent sales activities and accurate agent sales reporting. Work with event team to help agents to take remedial actions when agent sales forecasts are below target - Build strong relationships with key gov’t bodies, industry associations to learn market intelligence and gain funding support for China exhibitors to Hyve events - Work with marketing team closely to execute event local marketing campaigns to generate new leads and sales opportunities - Lead sales manager assistant to work with event teams and external suppliers to deliver satisfactory customer service for China exhibitors and agents on time, including money collection, exhibitor catalogue, invitation letters, floor map consolidation, stand build-up, exhibits shipping etc. - Lead sales manager assistant to deliver effective sales support, including pre-event sales preparation, closing won certain direct sales through sales activities / campaigns, agent sales report consolidation, event on-site operation, post-event report etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales / key account management and significant revenue growth delivered, preferably in exhibition or similar service industry. - Proficiency of Mandarin and English. - Good at using CRM - Excellent communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills - Enjoy domestic and international trips - Highly self-motivated, self-disciplined and ambitious - Able to manage pressure and deal with multi tasks under pressure - Loves challenges, reliable, mature and resilient - A collaborative team player and willing to learn - Experienced in an international environment
