In this role you'll make an impact by:
Conduct new growth opportunity scouting through market development and external partners engagement
Lead BD scouting projects outside existing core businesses areas to enable gap-closing between our business outlook and regional growth ambition, acting as project owner and working closely with different functional teams.
Drive and mature relevant corporate venture business (e.g. Carbon Capture, Sustainable Plastics, as well as other new applications beyond existing core businesses, based on alignment with VPs) until it is ready to move to line of business. This includes exploring value chain and business models, identify potential partners, create business cases, conduct market validations and create regional relevant sales pitch materials
Generate sales pipeline for future growth in APAC
Potentially relevant experience:
Proven ability to scout and develop growth opportunities outside core business areas.
Strong experience in conducting market research and building market intelligence.
Experience in managing business development projects and collaborating with different functional teams.
Skilled in generating new sales and executing regional market entry strategies.
Skilled in building business cases, validating markets, and engaging strategic partners.
Biotech or relevant industry background a plus
