RTR IC Accountant

What you will do
Perform all intercompany related accounting for Korea entities, including inter-company ARAP transactions and reconciliations for specific business sector(s) and countries serviced by DBC.

How you will do it
85 Inter-company (IC)
85 Invoice inter-company transactions
85 Participate in IC reporting and IC close
85 Participate monthly Statements and confirmation, prepare IC month end reconciliation and GIT, GRNI accrual by MJE as per policy
85 Respond to escalated IC queries and issues
85 Process IC invoices and requests for invoices for compliance with JCI corporate policies using independent judgment to assure adherence to the policy
85 Work closely with required parties to research and resolve differences with IC accounts

What we look for
85 Bachelors (or local equivalent) Degree in accounting and / or finance
85 2-5 years of experience in Account Receivable, Account Payable or General Accounting (GA) function
85 Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable
85 Comprehends and applies GAAP terminology / concepts / procedures / methods under supervision
85 Understands financial policy formulation and implementation process and able to assist in developing and/or revising policies under supervision
85 Recognizes basic terminology / concepts associated with AP / AR / GL;
85 Able to perform intercompany and other related tasks with supervision
85 Proficient in closing, consolidation and reconciliation process
85 Able to use business process software and basic application programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PPT, Functional formula) to support own process duties
85 Japanese is required. Ability to read and write English and Japanese with basic conversational skills
